Create geofences and receive real-time GIS alerts with GeoGestmaq
Configure GeoAlerts on polygons, polylines, points, and photos, and receive real-time alerts when users enter, exit, approach, cross, or remain inside GIS zones.
GeoGestmaq introduces GeoAlerts, a new geofencing tool that lets you attach rules to GIS elements and evaluate the real-time location of users connected through Live Channels.
Create geofences on your GIS elements
GeoAlerts can be configured directly on polygons, polylines, points, and photos, allowing you to define different event types depending on the selected element.
Detect entry, exit, and proximity events
GeoGestmaq can generate alerts when a user enters or leaves an area, approaches an element, crosses a line, or remains inside a zone for a specified amount of time.
Real-time alerts with Live Channels
GeoAlerts work together with Live Channels to evaluate the location of active participants in real time, using both local connections and remote MQTT connections.
Background notifications
While the Live Channel is active, GeoGestmaq can continue evaluating GeoAlerts even when the app is minimized and generate notifications when a configured condition is met.
Alerts directly on the map
When GeoGestmaq is open in the foreground, GeoAlert events can also be displayed directly on the map, allowing you to quickly identify which user triggered a rule.
Field applications
GeoAlerts can be used in mining, forestry, agriculture, infrastructure, security, inspections, and other field operations where movement inside GIS zones or around GIS elements needs to be monitored.
Useful for
- Zone entry and exit control
- Field team monitoring
- Proximity alerts
- Line and boundary crossing
- Dwell time monitoring
- Mining and forestry operations
- Inspections and maintenance
- Real-time GIS monitoring
